Maria do Rosário Frade was more than capable of the challenge when The Economist commissioned her to create imagery for its latest editorial hub.
In a space dedicated to global current affairs, the Portuguese artist applied her trademark shapes, shades and style to succinctly illustrate today’s talking points – imbuing the publication with her signature surrealism.
